Electronic Transfer
Mail or fax a brief letter to your broker, authorizing the gift. Include your name and brokerage account number exactly as it appears on your brokerage account statement. It is also helpful to us if we receive a copy. We would be happy to provide you with the name of our broker and our account number; just call David Gross, President, at (304) 561-3522 or e-mail to

Stock Certificates Registered in Your Name
If you retain the actual stock certificates, you can deliver the signed stock certificates to our office personally or you can send the certificates to us by mail. If you are using the mail, send the unsigned certificates in a separate envelope from the signed stock power and letter of intent. They should be sent registered or certified mail.
Stock Certificates Registered in Our Name
If you wish, the stock may be re-registered in our name. Your broker can do this for you. Then we would only need a letter of intent and the stock certificates, which should be sent registered or certified mail. Other Considerations
The value of your gift of stock is the average of the high and low value of the securities on the date of the gift.
The date of your gift is the date you relinquish control of the securities:
- Electronic Transfer: Date of transfer
- Certificates registered in your name: Postmark date on stock
- power/letter of intent or certificates, whichever is later
- Certificates re-registered in our name: Certificate date
