The first of its kind in Charleston, the Candlelight Classics concert will take place on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the hangar of the Bill Noe Flight School.
Members of the WVSO alongside Music Director Maurice Cohn will make the hangar its home for the evening performing light classics surrounded by thousands of candles and the audience in the round.
During the roughly one-hour program, the audience will hear classic pieces by Sibelius, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Haydn, and more, while experiencing the orchestra in a unique venue that is sure to create a “can’t miss” experience.
