Zuill Bailey’s rare combination of celebrated artistry, technical wizardry and engaging personality has secured his place as one of the most sought-after cellists today. Together with one of his frequent collaborators, Russian born pianist Natasha Paremski, he performs Chopin’s Sonata for Cello and piano; he also performs Bach’s third solo cello suite.
Zuill Bailey - cello
Zuill Bailey is a Grammy Award-winning, internationally renowned soloist, recitalist, artistic director and teacher. A consummate concerto soloist and recitalist, Mr. Bailey has appeared at prominent concert halls, with major symphony orchestras and at prestigious festivals throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Far East.
Bailey’s extensive discography includes a 2017 Grammy Award for his live recording of “Tales of Hemingway” by Michael Daugherty. His Bach Cello Suites and Britten Cello Symphony/Sonata CD with pianist Natasha Paremski soared to the number one spot on the Classical Billboard charts. His numerous other releases include the chart-topping Quincy Jones-produced Diversity with pianist and composer Emily Bear, and his innovative Spanish Masters CD featuring music of Falla. In celebration of his recordings and appearances, Kalmus Music Masters has released Zuill Bailey Performance Editions, which encompasses the core repertoire of the cello literature.
Network television appearances include a recurring role on the HBO series, Oz, in addition to features on NBC, A&E, NHK in Japan, and a live broadcast and a DVD release of the Beethoven Triple Concerto performed in Tel Aviv with Itzhak Perlman conducting the Israel Philharmonic. Mr. Bailey is also featured in the televised production of the Cuban premiere of Victor Herbert’s Cello Concerto No. 2 with the National Orchestra of Cuba.

Natasha Paremski - piano
With her consistently striking and dynamic performances, pianist Natasha Paremski continues to generate excitement, winning over audiences with her musical sensibility and powerful, flawless technique.
Born in Moscow, Paremski moved to the United States at the age of eight and became a U.S. citizen shortly thereafter. Natasha was awarded several prestigious artist prizes at a very young age, including the Gilmore Young Artists prize in 2006 at the age of eighteen, the Prix Montblanc in 2007, and the Orpheum Stiftung Prize in Switzerland. In September 2010, she was awarded the Classical Recording Foundation’s Young Artist of the Year.
At fifteen she made her debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and recorded two discs with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra Her first recital album was released in 2011 and debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Traditional Classical chart. In 2012 she recorded Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Natasha has become a regular return guest at many major orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Grant Park Festival, Winnipeg Symphony, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Oregon Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with whom she has performed every year since 2008. Her European concerto engagements have included the Bournemouth Symphony, Vienna’s Tonkunstler Orchester, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Zurich’s Tonhalle Orchestra and the Moscow Philharmonic.
