WV Symphony orchestra presents leann rimes

CHARLESTON, W.VA. (9/13/19) – The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO) welcomes LeAnn Rimes to Charleston for a performance with the Symphony at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 at the newly renovated Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.

“We are so thrilled to be showcasing our second SuperPops concert in as many years,” said Amanda McDonald, marketing director. “It’s so wonderful to work with our friends at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center once more, and we are excited for our patrons to hear Ms. Rimes belt out her country music classics together with the Symphony.”

The evening will begin with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The orchestra will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., with guest conductor Bob Turizziani leading the way for twenty minutes of orchestra-only, classical music. After a short intermission, Ms. Rimes will take the stage and perform the remainder of the show alongside the orchestra, performing a country songbook featuring hits like “Crazy”, “How Do I Live”, “Can’t Fight the Moonlight”, and many more.

A dinner buffet will also be served prior to the concert presented by Distinctive Gourmet. Tickets for the buffet are $29.99 a person and can be purchased through the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center box office at 304-345-1500. The buffet will be open from 5:00-7:30 p.m. and include hot and cold appetizers and salads, as well as a variety of delicious entrees, sides, and dessert.
