West Virginia Symphony Orchestra presents Lee Greenwood: Salute to America

CHARLESTON, W.VA. (10/9/18) – The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO), presents its first SuperPops in almost twenty years, as Lee Greenwood and his band joins the Symphony in the newly renovated Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.

“It will be a spectacular evening with American icon Lee Greenwood and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra at the newly remodeled Convention Center!” said music director Lawrence Loh. “I can’t wait to welcome our audience to this exciting venue for our Super Pops!”

The evening will begin with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. A short performance from the WV Youth Symphony will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the concert to follow at 8:00 p.m. Greenwood and the Symphony will present a range of familiar classics, including Mr. Greenwood’s well known, “God Bless the U.S.A.”

A dinner buffet will also be served prior to the concert presented by Distinctive Gourmet. Tickets for the buffet are $29.99 a person and can be purchased through the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center box office at 304-345-1500. The buffet will include hot and cold appetizers and salads, as well as a variety of delicious entrees, sides, and dessert.
