(3/7/23) – Instrumental students in Wood and seven surrounding counties are invited to apply for a locally-based scholarship that offers private music lessons with a West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO) musician, invitations to WVSO rehearsals and concerts, and personal interactions with the WVSO’s Music Director.

CHARLESTON, W.VA. (10/20/22) – The Charleston Ballet and The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra will present THE NUTCRACKER on December 9 at 7:30 p.m. and December 10 at 2:00 p.m. These performances will feature over seventy-five local dancers and guest artists from The Charleston Ballet (Kim Pauley, Artistic Director) accompanied by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor Emeritus Grant Cooper. The performances will take place at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia.
