CHARLESTON, W.Va. (1/5/22) – The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO) is excited to announce its Winter Stories performance on Saturday, Jan. 15 at the Clay Center as “Pay What You Wish”.

Guest Mélisse Brunet will lead the orchestra in the first Elliot Foundation Symphonic Series performance of 2022, as WVSO Music Director Lawrence Loh was recently diagnosed with a breakthrough case of COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms.

West Virginia Symphony Orchestra presents Holiday Favorite Sounds of the Season Dec. 3-5

CHARLESTON, W.VA. (11/23/21) - The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO) presents its celebrated holiday favorite, Sounds of the Season, on Dec. 3, 4, and 5 in select venues across the state.

Guest Conductor and Parkersburg native Luke Frazier will lead the WVSO in a festive holiday show, featuring classic selections like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Deck the Halls,” “Silent Night,” and “The Christmas Song.” The innovative holiday show showcases the WVSO with impressive vocal numbers, dance performances, and an appearance from Father Christmas himself.
